This step-by-step method allows you to spend much more time on the board and get constant feedback from your instructor, gaining more confidence in your riding, progressing faster and saving energy.
Who the wing foil lesson is for
Wing foil is for anyone who wants to experience the feeling of flying over the water with an inflatable wing in their hands. The lesson is for beginners, who start with the basics, and for those who already practice kitesurfing, windsurfing or surfing and want to learn a new wind sport. The instructor assesses your level and adapts the lesson to you.
How the wing foil lesson works
Wing foil lessons are always private (1 person and 1 instructor), so the instructor's full attention is on you. The progression goes step by step:
- Safety briefing and handling the wing on land
- Controlling the wing in the water and first glides on the board
- Riding the foil board and first flights
- Technique adjustments to become independent
How long it takes to learn
The time varies with each person, previous experience and the wind. In 2 hours you get to know the equipment and start controlling the wing; the 6, 10 and 12-hour packages give you the practice you need to progress to your first flights on the foil.
Wing foil lesson price and what's included
Private wing foil lessons cost the same as private kitesurf lessons: R$ 700 (2 hours), R$ 2,050 (6 hours), R$ 3,200 (10 hours) and R$ 3,730 (12 hours). They include IKO-certified instructors, equipment included, a safety briefing and insurance.
