A kite generates pull, and that pull changes with the wind. That's why, before the first lesson, the team assesses each child and recommends the safest format for them.
In every session, the instructor picks the kite size according to the child and the day's wind, so the pull suits their body. That way the lesson is safe, fun and shows real progress.
How kitesurf lessons for kids work
Lessons follow the school's same method, with language and pace adapted for younger students:
- Safety briefing: how the wind works, signals with the instructor and rules on the water
- Kite control on the sand, with the instructor alongside
- Body drag: gliding through the water pulled by the kite, without a board, to build confidence
- First runs on the board, always with the instructor close by
