On the coast of Ceará, Brazil, about 200 km from Fortaleza, lies Icaraizinho — also known as Icaraí de Amontada —, a fishing village in the municipality of Amontada. Its wide, fine-sand beach follows the curve of a bay, with fishing boats on the water and high dunes to the west. Icaraizinho, also known as Icaraí de Amontada, is in the municipality of Amontada, on the west coast of Ceará, about 200 km from Fortaleza by road, between the state capital and Jericoacoara. It is a fishing village with a wide, fine-sand beach shaped by the curve of a bay and high dunes to the west.
